The North Jetty rescued us from the record-breaking temperatures back in Eugene. The dogs had a blast mucking about,
chasing sticks, digging in the sand, and just hanging out.Sylvia patiently waited for us. I had fun playing with the dogs, but I also had a lot of fun just looking at stuff. What kinds of textures and patterns could I find? I’ve always had a soft spot for shells, rocks, and bones. The ones that make it home in one piece get a place on a book shelf or window ledge. I would go back to the North Jetty, even with its muckiness.
